오사카를 거점으로 활동하는 DJ이자 프로듀서 TENO는 최근 몇 년간 DJ잉과 프로듀싱 양면에서 테크노 씬 내의 입지를 꾸준히 다져오고 있다. 그의 활동 영역은 일본을 넘어 유럽, 중국 등 아시아 전역으로 확장 중이다. DJ로서 그는 미니멀, 다운템포, 스트레이트 테크노를 조화시킨 힘있고 그루비한 리듬으로 깊은 몰입감을 선사하며, 유기적인 의식을 일깨우는 경험을 자아낸다. 그의 사운드는 세밀하게 설계되어 있으면서도 관객과의 교감을 중시하는 유연한 접근 방식을 취한다. 이를 통해 수많은 팟캐스트와 라이브 공연에서 독보적인 예술적 정체성을 드러내며 관객들에게 강렬한 인상을 남기고 있다. 국제적으로는 암스테르담 기반의 'Eerste Communie' 플랫폼에서 DJ Marrøn이 기획한 FOWRE 시리즈의 첫 번째 아티스트로 참여해 믹스를 선보였다. 또한 노르웨이의 Monument를 비롯해 IO Records, Duplicity, Nebuleus, Reverse, Tensione Collective, Conceptual Violence 등에서 믹스를 공개해왔다. 프로듀서로서 TENO는 전 세계 다양한 레이블에서 음악을 발표해왔다. 2022년에는 자신의 테크노 레이블 'Aum Recordings'를 설립하고, Polygonia와 Wata Igarashi 등이 리믹서로 참여한 첫 바이닐 EP Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk EP를 발매했다. 이어 2025년 2월에는 개인적인 예술적 개성을 더욱 깊이 탐구하기 위한 두 번째 레이블 'Monos'를 런칭했으며, 이를 통해 국내외 유명 아티스트들과의 협업 앨범을 지속적으로 선보이고 있다. - TENO, a DJ and producer currently based in Osaka, has been steadily strengthening his presence in the techno scene in recent years through both his DJing and production work. His activities now extend beyond Japan to include performances across Europe, China, and other parts of Asia. As a DJ, he creates deep immersive experiences through powerful and groovy techno rhythms that blend minimal, downtempo, and straight techno, evoking an organic sense of consciousness. His sound is always meticulously crafted yet consciously interactive, filling spaces with his distinctive and flexible approach that emphasizes dialogue with the audience. Through numerous podcasts and live performances, he continues to solidify his artistic identity and deliver unforgettable moments that leave a lasting impression on those who experience them. Internationally, he has released DJ mixes on Eerste Communie, a platform based in Amsterdam curated by DJ Marrøn, where he was featured as the first artist in the FOWRE. He has also contributed mixes to the Norwegian platform Monument, as well as IO Records, Duplicity, Nebuleus, Reverse, Tensione Collective, and Conceptual Violence. As a producer, TENO has released music on various labels around the world. In 2022, he founded his own techno label Aum Recordings, releasing his first vinyl EP “Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk EP”, which featured Polygonia and Wata Igarashi etc, as remixers. In February 2025, he launched his second label Monos, aimed at exploring and expressing his personal artistic individuality more deeply. Through Monos, he continues to release collaborative albums with prominent artists from both Japan and abroad.
