For this DIY party, we’re thrilled to present Al Wootton for his LA debut, guiding a night of hypnotic rhythm and immersive atmospheres through dubbed-out textures and meticulously crafted percussion, pushing the boundaries of dance music. A central figure in the UK underground, Al Wootton is both DJ and producer, celebrated for minimal, dub-influenced leftfield techno and psychedelic percussion tracks. His work appears on his own label TRULE, as well as on Sähkö, Livity Sound, Optimo Trax, Berceuse Héroïque, and ZamZam Sounds. Joining him is LA’s sysk, whose layered, dub-laden sound balances introspection and physicality with deft precision. He is co-founder of Canary Test, a multi-disciplinary art space, which plays a vital role in LA’s underground dance music scene. Information bosses Slip (LA) and Screeb (NY) open back-to-back, setting the tone for a slow-burning, twisted journey, emblematic of the psychedelic ethos the label embodies.
