Sophie Hiroko was raised on the shore of Lake Superior, originally hailing from Duluth. This past summer, she was awarded the Palomino Grant- an opportunity offered annually to one Duluth-based musician by the iconic bluegrass group Trampled by Turtles. After opening their 2025 festival field show with S.G. Goodman, she released her debut EP "to the core," and moved to Minneapolis. She took her release on tour this last October, "from the core to the coast," with her final show in Brooklyn, NYC. This winter, she was recognized by First Avenue as one of their Best New Bands of 2025. With passion rooting into the waves of her heart, her sound reverberates tenderly through her true grunge rock sound derived from her idols- Nirvana, Patti Smith, The Breeders, and the Velvet Underground. Lauded as the greatest band of the millennium, Stonewalker is two things: a life changing experience and one helluva rock and roll group. They bring you the harmony of saturnine space blues and roaring dio-rock. Some of their influences include the Replacements, Pavement, and you're amazed that I'm alone... don't let 'em take me away from you. Products Band emerged from the Minneapolis DIY scene in 2017, formed by friends whose roots in small rooms and shared history continue to shape their sound. Their songs reward close listening. Subtle references surface in structure and tone, but Products Band resists nostalgic imitation, treating influence as raw material rather than destination. Interlocking guitars, elastic rhythms, and lived-in vocals reflect patience, passion, and trust built through years of collaboration. Products Band has shared stages with Gang of Four, Deerhoof, Water From Your Eyes, Dehd, and others quietly carving out their own space. More recently, they have collaborated with John Dieterich (Deerhoof) on a series of singles, with that partnership continuing on their forthcoming full-length record.
