Cooly G is one of the original key figures of London's underground giant Hyperdub and one of the pioneers of the sultry, playful genre of UK funky. Nabihah Iqbal continues her inter-disciplinary artistic output, taking an ethnomusicological perspective on left-field dance music, defying boundaries of genre, geography, and history. She is one of the longest-running resident DJs on NTS and has appeared frequently across the BBC. Lovie goes all night long in The Atrium. Alongside her 5-year-strong residency on the Lot Radio, studied archival work paired with deep emotional wisdom has made her a master of warm, community-minded dancefloors. Marco Weibel’s decade of selecting and 15 years of Darker Than Wax is on display UPSTAIRS. \- Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
